Łatek/Kuba from Nowe Miasto upon Pilica.

Just as many dogs in Nowe Miasto, Łatek was wandering around the city – it was much better for him than being caught by a dog-catcher and taken to a shelter where all dogs come to die. While he was being fed by people he was doing very well, but unfortunately something bad happened to him. One day a person who was giving him some food noticed that his paw was bleeding. They called us and we decided to take dog to our clinic. At first we were planning on letting him out when fully recovered because all we suspected was that he was hit by a car.

As it turned out, the reality was more tragic. The dog was shot and got three bullets. One of them crushed one finger in his forefoot. The second one got stacked in his temple, but the third one was the one which did the most harm. It damaged the shoulder plexus, which resulted in his forefoot paresis. We do not know what will happen to him. It is possible that the nerves will regenerate, but it is also possible that Łatek will become a cripple and will have to learn how to live with three legs.

We ask you for support for Łatek. He is a sweet but highly experienced by life dog who, because of bad people, suffered and became homeless.

Currently he lives in hotel where we are healing his physical and mental wounds. We want him to believe that humans can really be good and trustworthy.
