Drooler from the Shelter
Drooler is a dog who has always been in the shelter. Even his identification number did not include the year of his arrival – the shelter’s records were not as exact back then. Everything started before 2004, when Drooler came to the shelter as a cute little puppy. He only had one flaw: he was drooling all the time because a part of his tongue (around three quarters of it) was missing. We do not know what caused this terrible injury – he may have been involved in an accident. The tongue was cut during a surgery, as it is indicated by its shape.
Drooler learned how to drink and how to eat soaked dry food. He continued to live his life in a new way but soon became more and more invisible for the potential adoption. Finally, in 2014, a volunteer from the Foundation for Animals “Hug a Dog” took Drooler from the shelter and put him in a hotel, where he started to lead a more meaningful life.
Currently, Drooler is an older dog. He slowly becomes ill. We hope that despite that he will find a home for the last years of his life. The Foundation will help in supporting and treating Drooler because he fully deserves all the love in the world and we want him to know what a real, full of fun and affection life looks like.
